Easy entry with minimal waiting for security bag check. The Cistern was crowded but once inside, we had an educational and enlightening experience. Would recommend using the online tix instead of waiting in an excessively long line to purchase tix to enter.

The basilica cistern was really cool. Different to things I have seen before. It reminded me of the chamber of secrets. However, it was a really expensive experience, although i dont regret it, it was also not worth it.

The Basilica Cistern was an amazing piece of infrastructure built by the Romans. Our group was small, which meant we got quality time with our guide, and to ask as many questions as we wanted! He cleverly hung back from the crowd of cruise tourists in a quiet area, and gave us the specific items to look out for, before allowing us to wander around at our own pace. A thoughtful and informative tour! Would definitely recommend.

Organized and highly informative... easy to meet the group and see all three sites. Small group.. remember to bring a scarf for your head (ladies) and cover your knees (both men and women) otherwise you have to buy a scarf or skirt. We had a break in the middle for a quick juice or gelato. Great tour.

Just as they say. They pick you up at the hotel. They take you to the place where the balloon is already being inflated. You take a tea or coffee with a piece of pastry while you take pictures and see the rest of balloons (dozens) that begin to rise. They put you in the basket and enjoy an unforgettable flight!

Great views, great times. You can get some seriously good photos from up here (I didn’t as I’m useless with a camera). The price is a bit steep at €30 for going up a tower, but there’s an elevator up and then stairs back down. Nothing too demanding, and you can take breaks to read the information on each floor on the way down. Overall, a good experience, just wish it was a little cheaper.
